connection to SMTP Problem

Hello, 

When I make the configuration of the mail,
I have this Error message

and there is the log message

Can you help me please?


PS:There is proxy installed in the Virtual Machine.

Hi, 

I think it's a network related issue. 
Try to telnet to your SMTP server with the right port. If it fails, then a firewall or the proxy does not allow this protocol between the Qlik NPrinting server and the SMTP one.

Hi @Anw 

Proxy configuration and your network issues are not related to NPrinting. Talk to your network administrator to resolve those kind of issues as we have no control over it , we dont know how it is configured and there are no NPrinting settings to be applied.

Make sure you provide required details to your network administrator such as those documented in help site: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2023/Content/NPrinting/AdministeringQVNprinting/Set-up-emai...

Please study this documentation and if anything is not clear talk to your network admin.
