Hello,
We have a language difference for error messages when there is no data, the message is different between the QlikView application and the report generated by Nprinting.
The application was loaded correctly, as was the metadata, but there is a language difference.
we have test :
- Modification of the expression: in Qlikview it's in French, but in Nprinting it's in English.
- Modification of calculation conditions: in this case, the correct language is taken into account.
However, in this case we have to create a new expression for each case.
can you help me
here are the screenshots
In qlikview :
In nprinting :
Thanks in advance
Hi @Diane
This is the point where I will struggle to help more. I dont really have test environment where i can setup different languages and configurations for NPrinting and QlikView.
If this really bothers you - you may want to consider opening support case to troubleshoot the issue further. There are quite few moving parts and the fact that your servers have different languages does not help neither as it brings element of inconsistency to the matter.
The other issue is that your configuration is out of support so support team may require you to upgrade in first instance before they even start looking at it.
Sorry I couldn't help more.
@David_Friend @Ruggero_Piccoli @Frank_S - do you guys see option of recreating this as a support case? Assuming you could use currently supported QlikView and NPrinting.
Issue seems to be that when generating report the QlikView desktop client on NPrinting engine resets its language settings hence interface and out of the box messages are in english instead of french.
