Amazon S3 connectivity issue

Hello Community,

We're currently experiencing an issue while trying to access a file location in Amazon S3. The error message we're seeing is:

  • curlCode: 35, SSL connect error.
  •  AWS get bucket location failed: curlCode: 35, SSL connect error
  • Failed to stat S3 bucket 'XYZ'

We'd greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide with resolving this matter.

Thank you,
Pranita

Hi @Pranita123 ,

Thank you for reaching out to Qlik Community.

- Which Replicate version are you using?
- Is it a new environment?
- Could you enable verbose on TARGET_APPLY and TARGET_LOAD to get more information for the error message?

Regards,
Desmond

Hello @Pranita123 ,

In general curlCode: 35, SSL connect error was caused by connectivity especially by proxy settings or by Certificate.

You may validated the credentials with the "aws cli" through the command "aws s3 ls" on the same Qlik Replicate server
aws s3 ls s3://<buckentName>/<folderName>

Also check installation aws cli.

Hope this helps.

John.

Hello @Pranita123

Seems you are using proxy and as per our knowledge base most of the customer don't use while using Amazon S3 Bucket. if you still want to do make all participating server have port open from firewall and open for, send and receive data.
