Are timestamps in metadata messages in UTC?

Hi,

I'm working with a task that sends metadata messages to Kinesis, and I just wanted to confirm whether or not the timestamp in the metadata message is in UTC. This is not specified explicitly anywhere, but my assumption is thar it is indeed in UTC. Thanks.

As far as I know all timstamp values in metadata part are in UTC.

Just thinking on how to start checking if a date field have UTC time or not

now() as Date_Now,

utc() as Date_Now_UTC

Autogenerate(1);    

exit script;
