Hello Nakagawa-san, @iti-attunity-sup ,

Thanks for you update.

There are 7 databases services in OCI. Regarding the services:

1. Base Database Service
2. Exadata Database Service
3. Autonomous Database

Does "Oracle on Oracle Cloud" in "Supported source endpoints" mean 1 and 2?

You are right - Qlik Replicate does not support autonomous database (both ATP & ADW) as source endpoint yet. ADW is supported as target endpoint only.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

John.

Hello Team,

As per Qlik help Document using Autonomous Database as a source for Qlik Replicate is yet not certified.

Replicate supports the following Oracle database editions:

  • Oracle Enterprise Edition
  • Oracle Standard Edition
  • Oracle Standard Edition 2
  • Oracle Express Edition

Information noteFrom Oracle 18.x, change capture from Oracle Express Edition is not supported.
  • Oracle Personal Edition

hope this helps

Sushil Kumar

Hello @ititmatsuo ,

Thanks for reaching out to Qlik Community!

Looks to me, ADW is supported as target endpoint ONLY.

Other Oracle Cloud support can be found in Oracle on Oracle Cloud.

Both ATP and ADW are not supported as source endpoint yet. Maybe you can give it a try, and We'd like to suggest you open Feature Request in Qlik Ideation Area to get PM team confirmation if you face any issues.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

John.

Hello Sushil and John and Dana

Please let me check just to be sure about "Oracle on Oracle Cloud" in "Supported source endpoints".

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/replicate/May2023/Content/Replicate/Main/Support%20Matrix/supported_sour...

I recognize that there are three types of database resources whichhave the Oracle Database as their backend in the Oracle cloud.
1. Base Database Service
2. Exadata Database Service
3. Autonomous Database

For 1 and 2, the database settings can be changed without any restrictions and administrator privileges can be used.
For 3, it is a full-managed service and some database settings cannot be changed and administrative privileges are not available.

[Question]
Does "Oracle on Oracle Cloud" in "Supported source endpoints" mean 1 and 2?

Best Regards
Nakagawa
