Data Replication To RDS for PostgreSQL and Db2

Hello guys,

We are evaluating a CDC product to replicate from a DB2 UDB on Linux to a RDS for PostgreSQL and from the same DB2 LUW/Linux create another replication to DB2 UDB but in Windows. This should be in real time, I already read your user guide but isn't clear for me if those platform are supported, could you please help me with this question?

Regards,

Roberto.

Hello @robertom ,

All of them are supported:

1. The DB2 LUW source endpoint supported versions are 10.5, 11.1 and 11.5. See complete Supported source endpoints and detailed information of DB2 LUW Source Endpoint .

2. The DB2 LUW target endpoint is supported by using general ODBC target - You can config an ODBC DSN which point to the DB2 LUW Windows Server then use the DSN in Replicate  target Endpoint, check Using ODBC to connect to a target .

3. The RDS for PostgreSQL target endpoint is supported via the PostgreSQL target endpoint .

Hope this helps.

Regards,

John.
