Stream component failed at subtask 1, component st_1_MTD_AS400_MTDDATAF_LOGCDC
Error executing source loop
Endpoint is disconnected
Connection error

2-

RetCode: SQL_ERROR SqlState: 08S01 NativeError: 10054 Message: [IBM][System i Access ODBC Driver]Communication link failure. comm rc=10054 - CWBCO1047 - The IBM i server application disconnected the connection

Hi John_wang,

We are in Qlik May 2023 version and AS400 DB2 on 7.2   and ODBC driver version: '07.01.025'. As per Qlik documentation '07.01.026' is supported driver ,however it has some bugs and as per Qlik support we had rolled back '07.01.026' and stay in '07.01.025' version ..

We are still seeing the errors :RetCode: SQL_ERROR SqlState: 08S01 NativeError: 10054 Message: [IBM][System i Access ODBC Driver]Communication link failure. comm rc=10054 - CWBCO1047 - The IBM i server application disconnected the connection [1022502] (ar_odbc_stmt.c:4020)

Please advise !!

Hi @nareshkumar ,

When Replicate reported a communication error, did it automatically retry the operation? If so, did you observe the stream position moving forward?

Regards,
Desmond

Hello @nareshkumar ,

There are several potential causes for this error, such as the database server rejecting the connection, permission issues, firewall settings, etc. Typically, the root cause lies outside of Qlik Replicate, making it difficult to diagnose the issue solely from within the tool.

I recommend opening a support ticket and providing the verbose task log files. Additionally, collaboration with your DBA or IBM team will be essential to effectively resolve the connectivity issue.

Hope this helps.

John.
