How to load data load from DB2 iSeries Views to the target Snowflake?
Hello,
Greetings!
Any idea how to load the data from DB2 iSeries views to Snowflake?
In the Table Selection tab I am not seeing the Views to select.

Hello,
Views can only be selected from the following endpoints:
- Teradata
- Amazon Redshift
- PostgreSQL
- MySQL
- SAP Sybase ASE
- IBM DB2 for LUW
- IBM DB2 for z/OS
- Oracle
- Microsoft SQL Server
- ODBC with CDC
- ODBC
Thanks
Lyka

Thank you Lyka for your response.
Hmm.. Now I can see the reason why I am not able to see the Views in the Table Selection. 😞

Hello @satyender , copy @lyka ,
Totally agree with Lyka.
If you still want to replicate VIEW from DB2i in Full Load ONLY task, then you may take steps:
1- create a 64-bit ODBC DSN
2- users the generic ODBC DSN in source Endpoint. now you can see both tables/views are visible in task design, as below:
Hope this helps.
Regards,
John.

Thanks Frank for your response.
The connection is already set to the DB2 iSeries and able to get the Tables. The question is how to get the Views data from DB2 iSeries. As I am not seeing the option of Views in the Table Selection tab in Qlik Replicate.

The ODBC worked like a charm. But, unfortunately I am unable to run the task as our dept. does not have an ODBC license.
Thanks so much @john_wang for the tip.

Hi @satyender ,
You are right. The generic ODBC source/target EndPoint requires dedicated license token.
Regards,
John.
