Is it okay to leave batch processing mode on for an endpoint that doesn't support it?

Hi,

Quick question. If my target is Event Hubs and I leave the change processing mode in Batch mode rather than transactional processing, will this cause any issues?

I am curious as I know Replicate automatically force switches to transactional apply. If I leave the setting in Batch apply mode is that ok?

Force switch to transactional apply mode for EventHubs target

Kind regards,

Mohammed

Hello @MoeyE ,

Thanks for reaching out to Qlik Community!

Yes, you can keep the batch apply mode to Batch mode (Qlik Replicate will switch it to Transactional Apply Mode automatically) , or Transactional Apply Mode for Streaming type target includes Event Hubs, Kafka, Confluent etc.

Hope this helps.

John.
