Good evening
It seems like our Qlik Replicate tasks ran into "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host" a few times
Please suggest how to troubleshoot 10054 error message
** - Plan to request the event logs from our network/Windows admin
*** Should we upgrade our Qlik Data Gateway?
**** The task automatically resumed itself
Thank you
Theresa
Hello @lqthinguyen ,
Thanks for reaching out to Qlik Community!
Would you please share what's the product (Qlik Replicate, or QCDI ), what's the database types, and the databse role (source or target endpoint)? If you can paste a piece of error messages then it's helfp too.
Thanks,
John.

Hello Theresa Nguyen, @lqthinguyen
Thanks for the update. Regarding the error:
>> The error message is Failed to receive: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
>> (10054).
This error indicates that the Oracle database client/server connection was closed due to various possible reasons, such as firewall settings, resource limitations, or permission issues. You can find more detailed information on the Microsoft site., An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host (OS error 10054).
Typically, Oracle will provide additional details, often in the form of an error or warning message with an "ORA-<nnnnn>" prefix. Please check the task log for any such messages to help identify the root cause. If you need further assistance, kindly open a support ticket and include the diagnostic packages. Our support team will be happy to assist you.
Regards,
John.
Good morning Mr. Wang,
Please expand "resource limitations"
eg memory, CPU, size of packet going through Data Gateway ?
The task log and should I also turn on more verbose logging
Hello Theresa Nguyen, @lqthinguyen
Looks like you mixed up the 2 different issues. To make things clear, would you please remove your previous comment and put it to the correct article thread?
thanks,
John.
