Qlik Replicate: Log stream latency metric

Hi -

Hopefully a simple question.

When reviewing the latency metrics on a replicate task with a source that includes a log stream; do we have to include the latency of the upstream log stream task?

e.g

log stream task + dest task = overall latency

Or does the metrics from the dest task already includes the latency from the log streaming task?

Hello @Jon_Donker

Source Latency:

Is based on the time difference between the current time and the timestamp of the last change event read from the transaction log.

Apply Latency:

Is based on the time delay (latency) between the time when a change is visible to the source (and committed), and the time when this same change is visible to the target

So does the source latency figure have the upstream log task latency included in it?

Hello @Jon_Donker
Suppose if you see below information like

"Source latency 751.41 seconds, Target latency 751.41 seconds, Handling latency 0.00 seconds"  in Child(Replication) Task

Yes, then we need to check with Parent (Log stream) task, as child task is reading the changes from parent log stream task.
