Qlik replicate snowflake endpoint

I Installed Qlikreplicate and tried to set up the snowflake target endpoint, But I am getting below error when I test connection.

"

  • SYS-E-HTTPFAIL, Cannot connect to Cloud server.
  • SYS,GENERAL_EXCEPTION,Cannot connect to Cloud server,RetCode: SQL_ERROR SqlState: IM002 NativeError: 0 Message: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified"

Note: I installed the ODBC driver for the snowflake and successfully added and tested the DSN via the OBDC data source administrator.

Hello @chowsp ,

We are assuming you running Replicate on Windows, so besides @SachinB suggestion, please make sure:

1- if you installed the ODBC driver after Replicate installation, then please restart the Replicate services (via Windows Service Management) and try again ;

2- please make sure you download and install the 64-bit. Replicate cannot work with 32-bit driver.

     Go to Snowflake download page https://developers.snowflake.com/odbc/  and use the 64-bit one:

3- Add the ODBC installation folder  (default "C:\Program Files\Snowflake ODBC Driver\Bin") to system variable PATH, then restart Replicate services again (but personally I do not think it's necessary).

Hope this helps.

Regards,

John.

@SachinB @john_wang  Thanks for the feedback. The 64-bit driver was the culprit. Once I installed 64 Bit I am able to connect successfully.
