Supported endpoints database versions - Oracle database

Dear team,

According to the latest document of Qlik replicator, Oracle 19.x, 21c, and 23ai are supported as source endpoints.

If I need to connect the source endpoints of an older version such as Oracle 11g, can I purchase the older version of Qlik software?

Please advise,

Hi @ytamiya2000 ,

I can understand your concern. we have also faced the similar issue in my current organization.

If you have access to the Qlik Replicate(QR) instance you can use the workaround:

1. Create the ODBC connection in the QR instance.

2.In the QR console create the new endpoint and use the source connection as ODBC. Then choose the ODBC name that you have created in the instance earlier and select the same from dropdown.

3. Provide the username and password. Then do the test connection. Done!

Note:  If you are task is full-load only task then you would not likely face any issues, but for CDC it is a bit challenging.

Thanks,

Surya
