Minor update to the Add-in was released today - see Changing the connected Qlik Sense App.
This supports those situations where you authored a template against app A and maybe you have a copy of the App (call it App B) and you want to re-point the authored template to work with App B. It also supports a different tenant location as well.
Disclaimer - you do need to make sure the app you are pointing to has the identical object ID's. This is for those app duplication scenarios. If you aren't working with the same app origin you are best to author your template form a blank sheet.
