Install the free Qliksense Desktop version from qlik website and start building dashboards,you will get a decent idea.
But to start with Qliksense has QMC(Qliksense Management Console) and Dev Hub.
Dev Hub is the place where you create your dashboards these are categorized into streams.you can also create extensions,mashups and convert qlikview documents into qliksense here.
There are few differences between qlikview and qliksense,
qliksense has streams instead of folders,qliksense has sheets instead of tabs in qlikview,qliksense has something called as community sheets for the users to play with the data and publish.
QMC is where you schedule tasks and give access permissions.
