If yes, what is the work around you are using to resolve it!

To clarify things: all the apps that you (and other users) are seeing in the hub and the QMC, whether published or not, are binaries that are stored in a particular path (defined by the server administrator when configuring Qlik Sense Enterprise).

Reloading directly from those binaries is not supported: since the binaries are also accessed live by Qlik Sense for different activities, the files will get locked at some time.

If you need the data that is stored in those apps,  you should have tasks generating qvds and loading from those instead.

If you need to load data from other binary sources, it will be fine.

Hi Sushant,

I have seen the article you have attached and it refers just to a very specific scenario: binary loads from "live" qvf files in the App folder. So, basically the apps that are accessible in the hub.

There shouldn't be any issue with other kind of binary reloads (static qvf files that are not in the App folder, or qvd files).
Are you having a particular problem yourself?

Hi Daniele,

Thanks for the response!

I am not a QS Admin, so i don't understand "live" qvf files in the App folder.

We have 3 Layer - QVD Generator, Data Model & Front End Apps

All files are loaded on QlikSense server via QMC but only Front End Apps are "Published". Front End Apps depend on Binary Load from Data Model, Do think in this case the Support Note will be valid in my case?
