Best Storage Type for the Data Layer Files: ASM of File System

Dears,

Does anyone know what is the best storage type for the QVD files created in Qlik  Data Layer?

Is it Automatic Storage Management or File System?

I have only come across ASM in the context of it being a feature of Oracle database storage and as such I would not consider it suitable for storing QVD files.

I use the standard Windows local file system for storing all Qlik Sense files including QVD's.
