I stumbled upon this feature while trying desperately to simply get a list of items displayed in the QMC exported into an Excel spreadsheet. If there are other simpler methods, please let me know.

The tip requires OneNote and Excel and Internet Explorer (Other browsers not tested)

If you have any questions let me know.

Shaun

Don't know why can reply to Shaun directly hence do it here.

This doesn't work for me?

And if I use print, it print the screenshot as an image to OneNote...

Any idea?

Thanks

I am using IE 11 and OneNote 2016, are you using the same versions?

I have seen a recommendation to change the value of the following registry key from 1 to 0

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\User Settings\OneNoteToIEAddin

Change "Count" from 1 to 0 and then restart the machine.

Mine is currently set to 1 and is working fine.

Thank you for your effort Shaun.

I have made this change and restarted my PC but still have the same error.

Cheers.

Hi everyone, It's easy to use you can do it via monitoring app as provided by Qlik.

In monitoring app relevant fields and then export it as excel.

Another "quick and dirty" way is to "print"(right-click -->"print") your QMC list and save it as a PDF.
Then you can copy-paste text from PDF to excel.
As I mentioned dirty but quick (:
