This application is a tool that we use to create Proof of Concepts very quickly. The idea is simple. You upload the data you want to visualise and a spreadsheet of meta-data which defines dimensions and measures. The application template then takes care of the rest.
This video shows this in action:
If you would like to download this application and use it with your own data you can download it from here:

I hope you find the application useful and as much of a time saver as we do.
A tutorial blog post giving some pointers as to how to build the components in this app, using only standard Sense features, can be found here:

I hope that you find the application useful. You will find other applications that I have uploaded under my profile on QlikCommunity or on our Downloads page..

Hi,
There is a new update to this app to utilise the Animator object in the September 2020 release of Qlik Sense. There is now a sheet with what I am calling a Rosling chart (after Hans Rosling) which animates points on a scatter plot.
You can choose any two dimensions, a measure and a trend from filter panes and then watch your data move!
Download the app from here: https://www.quickintelligence.co.uk/isa

Hi,
This app keeps evolving and there are many new features since it was first released.
Some notable changes include the fact that we no longer you to provide an email to download the app (though you can if you want to be contacted about new releases), colours can be configured through the metadata and more configuration is possible now that buttons have more functionality in Sense.
We have also added some more example scripts for you to plumb in to the application, such as QVD profiler and Grand Slam Tennis Final Analyser.
If you want to try the application before you download there are also some live demos you can take a look at:
Hi Steve Dark,
We are using Qlik Sense cloud version.
We have created a Qlik sense app and want to share Apps on the internet to show others without asking to log in, that is like to do as your example:
https://www.quickintelligence.co.uk/sense/gs-app.html
https://www.quickintelligence.co.uk/sense/askqv.html
We want to share charts without any credentials. The problem here is when we try to access Qlik charts, it still asks for access credentials for Qlik domain.
Would appreciate your suggestion on this.
Yours sincerely,
Allen
Hi Allen,
Are you wanting users to be able to interact with the charts or do they want to be static?
If static you may find exporting them with Qlik Automation is the better bet, though I think you have to export to PDF and then embed a PDF in your web page. Another route is to write the data out, either using a STORE statement or Qlik Automation and then use a web chart library, such as the Google Charts API.
If you are wanting users to interact with charts anonymously then this article discusses how to set it up:
https://qlik.dev/tutorials/embed-content-using-iframes-and-anonymous-access
This is essentially how the demos above are working.
Note that the article recommends that you have a separate SaaS tenant for running this in, rather than allowing anonymous users into your main tenant.
There are a couple more demos on the ISA landing page now, here:
https://www.quickintelligence.co.uk/instant-qlik-sense-app/
And a new blog post which outlines a few more features of the app:
https://www.quickintelligence.co.uk/instant-qlik-sense-application-changes-in-2022/
Hope that helps.
Steve
