The Microsoft Data Capture for Oracle is part of the SQLServer distribution. Sometimes a customer may receive a hotfix from Microsoft or Qlik and this requires manual steps for the installation.
SOLUTION:
To manually install a hofix for the the Microsoft Data Capture for Oracle, follow these steps:
1. Stop all CDC Services -- "CDC for Oracle by Attunity".
2. Close the Config and the Designer management consoles.
3. Extract the ZIP file to a temporary directory.
The Change Data Capture is usually installed at:
C:\Program Files\Change Data Capture for Oracle by Attunity
The directory is called CDCRoot:
4. Copy the \bin contents to CDCRoot.
5. Copy the \bin64 contents to CDCRoot (\bin32 for Windows 32bit installations)
6. Copy the \msc contents to CDCRoot.
7. Start all the CDC Services.
