Hi,

Our current settings foces user to enter their login in a form of DOMAIN1\USER_NAME.

Is there a way to exclude the domain name from the login so users will only have to enter their user name (USER_NAME)

Just trying to imagine what would work:

  • Enable SSO. No more domainnames. No Usernames either. And best of all: passwords only "early in the morning"
  • Put all machines (clients and servers) in the same domain. The default domain will be used if you do not supply a different one.

Peter,

  • SSO would be indeed ideal. however, imagine a situation where user1 want to show user2 on user2's computer. user2 would habe to logout out of windows in order to let user1 in
  • In our case, the users and machines resides on the same domain

"imagine a situation where user1..." Can't you use Session Collaboration for that?
