Hi All,
When i gives the path of active directory in directory service(LDAP://domain.com), it shows asterisk and error shows "Setting up connection failed; The server is not operational" . I am unable to connect to AD. Screenshot is attached, what will be the cause of this error and what is the solution?

try,
1.check directory services are running or not?if not restart..
2. are u using the service account and service account part of AD domain?
3.not sure why ur seting username and password in the attached screen..in the same screen click "GET DEFAULT" icond just beside to usename and see whether ur able to get domain name automatically or not? if not try to set manually and click apply

I tried by clicking get default but displays nothing. Path is coming blank.
I entered path manually (e.g LDAP://mydomain.com) and same error coming as i attached in screenshots.

please check with this....
The AD Service account has to be a member of the Local Administrator group on the server. Not only a member of
"QlikView Administrators"

have you put your machine in domain (company domain where all users exists).

put the username and password of AD.
go to my computer and click properties and see your system in domain or not
