Add another domain on QMC ?

Hello everyone,

Until lately, we only used local users but now we have some users that are in a domain. I would like to be able to allocate CALS to those in the domain.

I went to QMC>System>Setup>Directory Service Connectors> Active Directory

Then I click on "+" and the domain appears in the path but then I don't know what to put in User Name and Password...

Thank you for your help

It needs to be an AD User that has permissions for LDAP lookups.

Your AD administrator should be able to advise / create one.

One last question: this user needs to go to QMC  so he has a named cal, is part of local Administrator and Qlikview Administrator groups but still he gets an error message "Access Denied"... What are the other requirements ?

Have you double checked with your AD Admin that it has LDAP lookup permissions ?

You AD Admin should be able to test this external to QMC / QlikView.
