Hi all ,

I'm facing an issue with reloading a task on server 11G.i'M gettin the error log file bellow.

when i reaload the application with desktop on server it works .

and in the application there is no hidden script .

Any idea ?

Hi Steve, did you find any solution and/or cause for this? We are facing the exact same issue.

The same error happens intermittently to a client and we cannot figure out why. The document is not being accessed from another program, it is surely not section access and I cannot see how could it be a issue of lack of resources. Really appreciate any insights. Thank you.

I'm afraid I can't remember which of my clients had this issue, or what the resolution was.  I don't have any clients who are suffering from it at the moment though.  Have you tried upgrading to the latest version of QlikView.  As most releases now focus on stability it is getting really solid now.

Will the increase in heap size work for servers with less than 9 cores? Our server is with 8 cores and we are facing the same "Document open call failed. The document might require username and password." errors. Some other kind of errors faced are "QDSMain.Exceptions.FailedDocumentCheckoutException: Failed to check out document with path".

In all the cases, a manual rerun resolves the issue. But we are getting these errors more often. Any suggestions?

HI,

The Heap setting is normally a problem when there are more than 9 tasked ran at once, because of a Microsoft limitations on Comm Objects.

Has the task every run without issue? If not is section access applied to the document? Is the document located where someone could be opening it in Desktop at the same time as it is trying to be reloaded?

At a time we have maximum 4 tasks running.

Its a scheduled task an the task runs without issues mostly, but on some days these errors occur. Recently,errors have become more frequent. A manual rerun of task solves it, but needed to find what the actual issue is causing the error.

Section access is applied, but as the task runs successful in most days, I don't there should be some issue with section access.

It's sure that the document is not opened when the task is reloaded.

The only way I found to solved is by setting all QlikView Services with an admin user that have full right on folder and a named cal assigned.

Have also an ACCESS=ADMIN entry into document SectionAccess

I tryed also to set into Section Access property user credentials into Document reload settings but nothing.

Everything worked properly with a local admin user before I switched on the SA on doc.... and local admin did not have a cal assigned
