Does LDAP configuration suports Authenticaion or Authorization in Qlikview?

Can you please let me know whether LDAP configuration in Qlikview does authentication of users accessing the Qlikview Acces spoint?

Or LDAP configuration in QMC does not do authenticstion of users and used only for Authorization?

Our client has asked that they nned to CONFIGURE LDAP in qlikview for authentication?Can this be done ?

Can you please share the details how to configure LDAP and for which purpose DLAP I sused(Authentication or aUTHORIAATION)?

Please advise.

In which location the formlogin.htm nneds to be placed?

LDAP configuration has been done successfully and we are able to search Groups withinh the directory.

No I nned to authenticate th euser from the same group.How would I do that ?
