If it's not that urgent, wait for SR9. Will be released in a week or so. At least that was the plan
We encountered a bug in the ajax calendar datepicker - selection of a day in Nov or Dec selects the wrong month. That's why we didn't notice it till now.
Had the same annoying problem.
There are three options: wait for SR9, downgrade to SR7 (calendar works ok) or - as a Customer - ask a patch from Qlik support.
Peter, is this patch specific to this problem? If so, would appreciate if can be shared, or referenced so I could ask for same.

A patch is specific to either a single or multiple problems.
It cannot be shared or referenced.
