I have noticed that when doing update that this happens. No reload on the server is needed, and if I update the document on my desktop then drop it new data is now available without server reload(First noticed when I fixed a document in out temp location where we store them that had old data, I did not update it and the server reverted to the old info that was on the document)
I am curious about how it effect the RAM and what it does to the in memory portion server side.
That is normal. QVS sees that the file has changed an will update the data. If you don't want this to happen and you have publisher update the source document. This way the changes will not take place till the next schedule reload.

Has no one looked into this or noticed that this happens?
