File owner of distributed document

Hi,

When publisher distributes a document to the access point, it appears that the local windows group "Administrators" becomes the owner of the qvw file. This becomes a problem, since apparently all Domain Admins get access to the document via the file ownership.

Can I somehow change the default (NTFS) file owner of distributed documents?

This is a Windows admin issue.

But for Windows Server 2003 try looking in :

• Security settings
• Local policies
• Security options:
  • System object Default owner for objects created by members of the Administrators group

Not sure for 2008 / 20012.

Thanks for the quick reply! I assume that your suggestions would change the setting globally on the Windows Server instance? That would make it one bit to risky to implement since it might affect a lot of other things than QlikView also.
