Hello all,
I am using publisher to create PDF.
When I create a task in publisher, I want to give dynamic filename to the PDF.
Task will be generated daily.
so each pdf generated daily, should have filename as <ReportName> - <date>.pdf
so if task is executed on 8/11/2014, I want the filename as <ReportName> - 07-11-2014.pdf
i.e date should be of previous day.
is it possible?
hen you will need to customize the distributions you need.

Hello Sujeet,
Thanks for reply....
But my issue is I have done everything,
creating pdf templates, adding task in publisher for creating PDF, scheduling the pdf.
For creating the PDF, the filename format which I have set is <ReportName> and date.
But the problem is when the PDF is generated, it gives filename as Sales - 08-11-2014.pdf.
But the data in the PDF is of date 07/11/2014.
So, I want to name the pdf file as Sales - 07-11-2014 but run the task on 08-11-2014.
Is this possible?
Hello Rupali,
You can create a Table with a Field, for example "PREVIOUS_DATE", and use this code to generate it:
PreviousDate:
LOAD
Text(Date(Today()-1,'DD-MM-YYYY')) AS PREVIOUS_DATE
Autogenerate 1;
Then, on Publisher you should add this field to the document name, it will be something like:
ReportName %DocumentField,PREVIOUS_DATE%
Try this and let me know.
Regards,
