How can I set up one computer, with one QlikView desktop and two users?

Hello

We have a computer and user A and B.

User A installed desktop on the computer and got Qlikview User License. User B tried to use desktop on the computer but only got personal license althoug tried to get a Qlikview User License.

User A unistalled desktop and user B installed desktop on the computer tried to get Qlikview User License but it doesn't work instead it is Qlikview User License. When user A open the desktop the Qlikview User License it is still there.

What have we to do so user B got Qlikview User License?

QlikView licenses are per user, not per computer, so this seems correct. If you're getting the licenses via lease from the server, you'll have to delete User A's license from the server (and wait for the mandatory one-week quarantine to end).

HI,

@Or  is 100% correct. Each user has to have their own license.

Hi @marvin,

To follow up on Or and Bill's comments, QlikView Desktop license lease information is stored in each user's Windows User profile - %Users%\<username>\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikView\Settings.ini. So as was stated, each users must lease a license. Refer to Qlik Support articles How To Lease A License From QlikView Server To QlikView Desktop Client & QlikView License Lease - Technical Brief for further details.

Best Regards
