How can i make a custom user connect to Accesspoint ?

Hi,

i have a QlikView Server 10 with its own Web Server.

I have created a Custom Directory with two users in it

i have enabled DMS Authorization

but when i go to http://xxxxx/qlikview  (accesspoint) i cannot use a Custom User login and password .. is it normal ?

it works with a Windows Domain user and password but not with a custom user ..

How can i do ?

And if we need to use a Windows User and password, is it possible to allow a document to anyone connected ?

Thanks

Hi,

If you are using Custom users, you are going to need to turn on the custom form authentication method.

QEMC/System/Web Server/Authentication/Login Address.  Select "Alternate login page (web form)"

Stephen

Sorry to bump an old thread, but what if there is no publisher installed? Is there any way to apply your own web form connected to your custom directory and apply it as default instead of the regular windows login?

Hi,

After changing login page to login.htm also it's not working. I am using DMS Authorization and created users in custom directory.

Thanks,

Karthi
