Hello all!
In the named license, only one user can have an instance open at any given time. so, when another user accessed the same qlikview document, it will kick the other (first user's) logged in session off.
My question is, how do we change or configure the server so that the last user who wanted to access that document will be the one to be kicked, not the first user's session?
Thanks in advance and more power!
Regards,
Jason
Jason, that is not correct.
The behaviour you're describing will only happen if both persons are using the same user. The solution is pretty simple, buy more licenses.
Daniel, you're exactly right, sorry got messed up with licensing.
Thanks for your reply, it really helps..
Good day all,
Ok, granted both persons will use the same user account, when the second person logs in using the same user, the first one to log's session will be closed. My question, is there a way to change the configuration so that it will be the second person cannot log in or open the qlikvew document?
Thank you.
HI Jason
we have to use the concept of Single Sign ON which is an addtional feature we need to add to the server
Thanks ven.
You mean we have to pay for that additional feature? Do you have documentations on how to use this concept?
