Hello,
I'm leasing a named cal license from the server. ( I used "open in server" and opened a document from the server.)
Can I find somewhere a confirmation that I'm actually leasing a license from the server?
I'm now on desktop 11 SR7, windows 8 version. It used to be possible to see the license lease or personal edition message on the start screen. I can't find that information in the windows 8 version though.
I'm pretty sure that I'm licensing a license because I can download random qvws and open them without receiving the personal edition warning.
My main problem is that whenever I open the script the following warning message pops up.
Any idea how I can get rid of this?
,Thx

Hello,
The issue is solved.
The pop-pup came from an add-on "ETL tools connector" which I had installed a while ago.

,Thanks to advice me to search somewhere else than in Qlikview
Hi Koen,
When was QlikView server installed?
Don't you think the QlikView partner that installed it for you used a temporary key and now QlikView is just warning you that it will expire?
If you are able to open random .qvw's then it means you have a user CAL.
I would suggest phoning your QlikView partner and confirm that they have installed your license for you.

Hello Marius,
Thanks for your reply.
The server license is valid till 2015-03-28> So that shouldn't be a problem normally.

Thanks, I checked and I can confirm that I'm actually leasing a license.
Hi,
This does not appear to be a message that Qlikview sends. Do you get this when opening or running the script?
Maybe you have a connector in the script that needs a license?
/Regards
Hi Kristofer,
The error pops up for any document I open.

Hi,
I really don't think that is a Qlik message. If it is I have never seen it before or heard of it.
