Hello,
After an update the version of QlikView to May 2021 applications with Section Access have issues with it. After restart of the service QlikViewServer Section Access is applying correctly. This situation does not occur if the application is not used, when application is in process of updating.
Thank you for your time
#QlikView, May 2021

I will try @Maria_Halley 🙂
After the update to May 2021, we have an issue with applications after their update. They are with new data, but section access is not applied correctly. If we stop the QlikViewServer service, delete TShared file, and start service again, everything works fine. This issue appears when some of the users use application, when we reloading data. If the application is not using when it is reloading there is no issue with section access.
We found that when we use the option for more than one instance of the application in RAM the issue does not appear.
But this option could be a performance issue because our applications are more than 3 GBs.

In the attached pic, the system is set up to only allow one copy of the document in memory.
This means that the document get replaced in memory when a new reload is complete. User should get a disconnected message.
But it is interesting that it starts working when you delete the Tshared file.
I think you should log this a case for support.
Hello, Maria,
The attached picture is example for setting. I have an issue with log in into support portal. If you have option to log a case, could you log it.
Regards
Dimitar
To work with Technical support you will need to be able to log in. Since we only do communication through the portal.
You can log a case with our customer support as a guest and they will help you log in.
