Mounted Folder on FTP (Shared Drive) with Two QlikView Servers

Hi All,

I wanted to know, Can I map one mounted folder from Shared drive with two QlikView servers?

For example "Source_Document" is my mounted folder in FTP (Shared Drive) then

I want to map with QlikView server_1, QlikView Server_2.

Hi,

The shared folders is a feature of the OS, is not of QVServer, then is not a problem to share a folder.

Hi Jose,

Thank you for response.

However, my question is if I configure same Shared folder (Mounted Folder) in two instance of QlikView Server, then user can able to access applications from access point.

I think so, but be careful with the licenses, maybe you can have problems with that.

You have three four of the same topics open, so I deleted the others.

As Jose says, this is a OS feature, but I would be careful using too remotely distant shares for QlikView Server.

I'm not sure if you want to use the share for QVS or QDS (Publisher), but for QVS there's basically only support for Windows Shares, which means that the share with the files needs to be hosted on a Windows operating system.

I would not recommend having assets for any QlikView service on a share using the FTP protocol, for the simple reason of this not being supported.
