Not able to recover a file

Hello team

An app is showing the following error,  Failed to open document, file corrupt.

But I am unable to recover it even using the command C:\Program Files\QlikView\qv.exe /nodata \\gbrdsm020003904\Macro\USRatesTrading\CPCD\CPCD.qvw

Also I removed the .shared and any other similar file but without luck, also I have checked the file permissions and are ok, also I have tried copying the file to other location but the same result

so any suggestion?

Hi @fedexin_40,

Yes per the error it seems that the app is indeed corrupt. Hopefully you are employing a regular backup strategy for these files. Have you tried restoring/recovering the app via Windows processes such as Shadow Copy or having your IT team restore the file?

Best Regards
