I've tested a strange behavior in QV Server:

Distribute via email: Works fine.

Distribute to folder and activate notification email to reciepts: Works fine.

Distribute to QlikView Server and activate notification email to reciepts: The document is distributed, no email is sent.

Distribute to folder and QlikView Server with notification mail to reciepts: Documents are distibuted, only the people who are authorized in distibute to folder task are getting an email.

What is wrong?

Using QV 11.2 SR

Pls check when you use the distribute to server option, are you using Active Directory or any custom directory service.

I am using an active directory.

And why should this work within one distribute option and not within the other?

Below given is the extract from QMC help about "Notify" feature. The "Note" section seems to be little confusing. I'll check and let you know if I find anything.

This I understand and tested. Because you add an user from the AD the given emailadress is used.

And those, who get an email within the qvw won't get a notify email.
