ODBC Connection - Manual Reload works but QMC schedule keeps running for hours

Hi,

I am using QV11. My document uses an ODBC Connection to Ingres Database. The manual reload of the document works (less than 1 minute for reload). But when I schedule it using QMC, it keeps running for hours and then I have to either end the 'qvconnec't process in Task Manager or stop the qlikview services.

I tried using Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers, but that too didn't work. Please help!

I have the same issue. In my case it is due to the fact that i have a 64bit server and a 32bit ODBC connection.

It seems that QVServer 64bit is not capable of recognising the forced 32 bit connection . This problem already existed in QVserver10. It is solvable by using a 64 bit ODBC connection or installing a 32 bit Server.

In my case there is no 64 bit ODBC connection so i am forced to install 32 bit Server with all it's limitations.

I am also facing same issue, My all QVWs with same connection string are working fine except this.

and this is also working fine manually but not thrugh server .

I know this is an old post, but i found a solution that worked in my situation.

I needed to make sure "run with highest privileges" as not selected. this seemed to cause an issue with my ODBC connections.Once I unchecked the box, reload worked as scheduled.

Where do we do the un-check  the Run with Highest Privleges ?
