One of the Dimension in Pivot Table is disappearing

Hi All,

In Qlikview Access point , one dimension in a pivot table is disappearing among three. The disappearing dimension placed as header of pivot table horizontally. This dimension is disappearing for few users only . But those users can see the list box of that dimension. so its not because of section Access. Is it because of the Browser IE11 ? or any other cause?

please suggest, how do we trouble shoot this issue?

previously we resolved the same issue by refreshing the Dashboard.But Now its not resolving by refresh.

Hi Ramgopal,

Are you using Ajax or IE plugin client? I have seen this in Ajax before, if my memory serves, this was something to do with the browser used by the user and I think chrome had no problems

we are using Ajax Browser and not using any IE Plugins.I will check with the users whether they can able to view the table correctly or not using Chrome.

AS Please check one more thing, the dimension might have been dragged and placed horizontally (above expression)

you would see a small sign to expand. I have faced this issue once

I checked the screen shot sent by user. There is no expand sign .

We also made it as always fully expanded.

Hi Joe,

we faced the same problem irrespective of the browser.Checked in both IE and Chrome.The issue is not resolved that for some users only one dimension is missing.

I am aware this is an old post.. had a similar issue..

To correct it.. I changed the Pivot back to a straight table.. Ensure all Expressions are placed AFTER all Dimensions..

Revert back to Pivot and it works fine..

Also resetting the state of Qlikview document should resolve this.
