after an IE upgrade, the opeining process for a QV app is going into an endless looping process.

But never opens.

Thanks,

Hi Bernd,

it may be worthwhile ensuring that the version of the IE plug matches that of the QV Server.

Best regards,

Andy

Hi Bernd,

What is your Qlikview version,IE version and what do you mean by endless loop? are you getting any error message?

Did you try other browser and checked?

Hi Siva,

this happens only for a few users. Most users can work.

Qlikview Version: 11.20.12904.0

IE Version: 11.0.9600

We are using the Plug-In.

With Chrome it works.

Thnx,

Bernd

Bernd,

Need to check the version of IE the user is using and make sure whether it is compatible.

Usually, in some organization IT team will update IEs universally, some wont.

Better to advise users to use either the compatible IE or to suggest using Ajax instead of IE plugin.

Hi Andrew,

yes this seems to be the root. The client with the problem has installed QV Client SR16. Client which work perfectly have SR12 installed.

We will try to downgrad clients to SR12.

Thanks,

Bernd
