i know this but precisely when you have QVS it holds a basic publisher (= scheduler).
If you buy Publisher (the full one which refreshes, distributes, reduces qvw) this is a separate module.
My question is : Does PDF Report Distribution can work with the basic version or do we have to buy it PLUS publisher to make it work which would be very expansive then ?
If your requirement is small you can use macro and send pdf reports.

Unfortunately, unless you schedule a job like Vikas' example above then you will find it very difficult to automatically send out PDFs to a range of users without purchasing any additional software.

QlikView Publisher with the PDF Distributor add-on can be used to distribute reports. It would be worth taking a look at other options in the market for distributing QlikView reports as you may be purchasing more than you need with Publisher - it depends on your requirements. If you go into Qlik Market, you will also see NPrinting and QVMail.
