Hi All,
I have tried to enable PGO as XML in Clustered Environment.
We have 3 servers in cluster and enabeld PgoAsXmlAlso=1 in all the settings.ini file, but unable to generate CALDATA.pgo.xml.
Please help me to resolve this issue.
Regards
Krishnapriya
Hi Krishnapriya,
The default location for this is the C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Documents folder, which is the root folder.
Have a look within your QMC what it says that your root folder is set to, see QMC > System > Setup > Management Service > QlikView Servers > QVS@servername > Folders.
Regards,
Erik
Hi Eric,
Thanks for your response.
I have changed the default location and checked the xml file in that location. we are able to see the Init, Servercounters & TicketData xml files except CalData.

Krishnapriya.
Hi Krishnapriya,
Is there any CAL data being generated yet? Have you applied a license? Is there anything going on at the server?
Do you get a CalData within the local QVS folders? Default location: C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer .
Are they consistent over the cluster (same change date, hour, minute)?
Regards,
Erik
Hi Eric,
Yes CALData is generated. eventhough I have used a common root directory for PGO files. In default path CALDATA within Loac QVS folder "C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer".
yes they are consistent over 3 server. checked the date, hour and minute.

Krishnapriya
Hi Krishnapriya,
Not completely sure about your response here. So the CalData.pgo does exist under C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer and is being modified continuously, meaning there is activity for it? Please confirm.
Are there users accessing the server that is using CALs? Can you try adding a few users and use a few CALs?
Regards,
Erik
Hi Eric,
I have changed the root directory by last week.
The CALDATA.pgo file in root directory is not reflecting the current changes. But CALDATA.PGO files under C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer in each server is getting reflected till date. Is this causing the issue in converting the pgo into XML.
Yes the users are using the CALs.
Regards
Krishnapriya.
Hi Krishna,
Just checked my own environment, and indeed it is created. It does contain information about all kinds of CALs (just tested Document and Named CALs). If you have Document CALs the .meta files will contain some of this information too.
Are you using Named CALs?
Try applying/removing the Server license again (note though that this will remove all CAL data), and you should see changes to the XML files, including CalData.pgo.
Regards,
Erik
Hi Eric,
I have only Named CALS.
Will try to applying/removing the Server license again
Regards
Krishnapriya.
Hi Eric,
One qustion here. If I remove the license and apply it again whether Clustering will be removed?
Thanks
Krishnapriya.
