Hi Community,
In the QMC Status tab for tasks there is functionality on the folders and tasks to 'expand' or 'collapse' all folders / tasks. After upgrading to QV 12 that functionality no longer works. When we right-click to bring up the menu both 'expand all' and 'collapse all' display but nothing happens when you click on them. Has anyone else seen this behavior? And a have a fix? This occurs in both IE and Chrome browsers. Thanks in advance.
Roll-out continues and this continues to be a thorn in our side. Can confirm it works as expected on FireFox. Interesting note, I was prompted to login using FF but have not been with IE. Maybe a red herring but checking it out.
Hi,
I have just been upgraded to Windows 10 on a new notebook and I have the same behaviour. I just tried adding the QEMC to the trusted sites in the IE security_settings (using IE 11) - but that doesn't seem to be possible because it is not a https site, but only http and although it is on an internal server, that seems to be blocked.
What can I do about this?
Thanks a lot!
Best regards,
DataNibbler
When I saw happening, you have to add a folder in the Folders tabs of the QMC > QlikView Server, then the documents appear.
I don't have Windows 10 here but I'd swear you have the option to add non https:// sites, it's a check on the Control Panel > Internet Options settings. Looks like it according to this: https://kb.mc3.edu/article/adding-trusted-sites-windows-10-1028.html
Hi Miguel,
yes, there is a checkbox, I saw it - but that doesn't fix it. That other thing was not for me, or was it? I cannot quite connect that ...
To be able to expand the Documents > User Documents tab, when you click on the "+" sign but it shows as empty while it's not, if you add a dummy folder in the QMC, the "+" sign works, so you can expand and collapse.
Maybe not for you but for the OP.
Yep, that's what I meant. OK.
That behaviour (no "expand all") still remains the same here and I'm curious for any feedback from QLIK on this issue ...

Miguel,
This is happening on the tasks. We have a reload structure built where each tasks triggers another. When you attempt to 'expand all' on the tree nothing happens.
Did Qlik Support give you any hint or troubleshoot?
No.
I have the same problem. Hierarchy of tasks. A click on the plus icon works and correctly opens the sub tree. Using Edge, 'expand all' in the context menu works, too.
In Firefox, 'expand all' does not work.
