Hi All,

Facing an issue where i could not see any task running in QMC and for all the tasks status is waiting and last exeecution is coming as never. buti am trying to run manually as well it is not running.

Would need some help to track what went wrong and how we can fix it.

I am using v11.2 SR8 (64 bit).

Also I would like to know what all precautions should we need to take before making the changes.

Do we need to stop all services before making any changes or server reboot is required to make effect of these changes or anything.

It is always a good idea to restart the service when modifying any app.setting.

No need to restart the entire service.

Now the only question answer which we need to look for is under what circumstance QMS and QDS are out of Sync so that we can avoid such kind of issue in future as well.

As far as I know there is no way to avoid these type of issues.

On how to monitor the system I leave that question to people with more experience in maintenance.
