QMC Task Fail log is different

1. It's the same task, but the messages are coming out differently on the two servers.
Does this affect logging settings?

2. For QMC Task log, which part of logging setting should be applied?
QMC-Setup
- QlikView Servers
- Distribution Services
- QlikView Web Servers
In the above three tabs, logging settings can be set to Low, Medium, and High. What tab's logging settings have an effect on taking task log?

Error message: Exception=System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException(0X80010108)

Thank you for answer.

1. Same error, but the log message format is slightly different.
Why is it different?

2. What is the logging setting of the service that sets the above log to appear?

Please answer.
Thanks & Regards.

@qwebnm

To answer your questions

1.  This is the normal log that appears in the Qlikview Management Console under Status>Tasklog.  Not sure what you mean by format is different what are you comparing?

2. This information is derived from the QDS settings configured in QMC> System>QDS>General>Application Data Folder. To review the full log C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\1\log\datestamp\

-> The same Qlick file task was scheduled on both servers.
Shouldn't the log content be the same?
The log contents are different and are being checked.
What's the problem?

Thanks & Regards.

@qwebnm  As per log excerpt the load times are different so we are not comparing apples to apples.

In order to troubleshoot this issue kindly open a support ticket and provide the full text logs for both servers (Document and Tasklog) specifically from C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\1\Log

This will help support review the entire log.  Thanks

Hi @qwebnm,

Friendly suggestion when providing task logs, instead of taking screen captures of the logs, attach them to the thread. It's easier to consume them this way. By default, the task logs are stored in %ProgramData%\QlikTech\DistributionService\1\Log\DateOfTask\NameOfTask. If you have configured the QDS Application Data Folder in a different folder, you can check the location by looking in the QMC > System > Setup > Distribution Services > QDS@ > General tab.

Best Regards
