QMC - query to automate control by mail

Hello Guys,

I want to automate a daily control our team done for qlikview treatment. Indeed, every morning, we control if we did not have any issue and fill document to confirm that everything is OK.

Is it possible to query directly a repository database in order to have this information easily and automate a sending mail for example ?

I have seen some XML files in ..Publisher\Qlikview Distribution Service folders ... but it seems it is complicated to use them  🤔.

Hi @Touix,

Could you specify what type of information you're looking to use?  Generally speaking you want to be very careful on what you configure so that you're not putting extra demands upon the QVPR.  It could be that something like the QlikView Governance Dashboard could provide the answers you're looking for.  Suggest you start with What is the Governance Dashboard? and Getting started with the Governance Dashboard.
