QVD file was missed in server

Hi All,

QVD file was missed from our server. We were able restore that with the help of backup, but just wanted to check is there way that we can track how this is happened or if it was a deletion from a specific users (Couple of users have access to Windows Server).. How to pull that information... I have verified in the Event viewer with no luck..

Thanks in Advance..

Deleting a regular file is just a Windows (NTFS) operation. If you don't install logging software of all NTFS file manipulations, you won't be able to track who deleted what.

Maybe a google search will help you in a better way?

Good luck,

Peter

Isn't the QVD re-created from the data source and you simply needed to run the job or is this some sort of historical data that is not re-created?
