On rare occasion, RAM maxes out on our QV Publisher server (250 GB). The rescheduling of loads and removal of unneeded loads has already been addressed. Our QV Publisher is on a VM server. I know high and low limits can be set for the QVS, but am uncertain with regard to a stand alone Publisher server. With our 13 cores on Pub, we have a maximum of 9 QV engines for distribution and 20 engines for administration.
Are there any additional adjustments I can make before adding RAM?
Is there a limit to how much RAM can be usefully added for Publisher?
If we have a simple additional allocation of RAM from the VM, would a restart be needed for QV Pub to leverage it?
Thank you.
