QlikView upgrade from 12.3 SR4 to 12.5 SR4

Dear experts,

We are planning to do upgrade from QlikView 12.3 to 12.5 on our current 12.3 servers. Could you please provide any special considerations that we need to take and any recommendations/suggestions? 

Please suggest.

Our current environment: 1QMS, 2QDS and 1QVWS,QVS servers.

Hi,

The most important thing is that you make backups.

They upgrading steps are described in the manual, see

Changes done between versions can be found in the release notes, you find them in the same place as the download files and in the "What's new" section in the help

Yes if you have any custom configurations you need to make sure you back them up as all Qlik files located in Program Files folder will be overwritten during the upgrade process so you will need to back those files up and restore.
