Qlikview Failed Task

Hi all,

Some tasks are failing in qmc due to Connector connect error, how to decide if they are failing due to wrongly configured dsn's on publisher server or due to "wrong connection string" in the script by developer?

Thanks...

Hi @KenAdams,

So that error isn't a QlikView error per se. It is what QlikView is receiving from the source. Suggest that you discuss this connection error with your DBA or contact the support team or use the community of that technology vendor.

HI,

I would contact the developer and have him to look at it with you. Do you have all the drivers installed on the servers, that the developer is using?

Hi @KenAdams,

Can you provide the full syntax of the error that's returned in the task log and the connector log? That would be helpful for us to help you.
